    Important dates

    • Submission of abstracts deadline 1st July 2024.
    • Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be sent electronically to the submitting author by 15th September 2024.
    • Early registration & active participants deadline is 1st October 2024.

    Presentation Formats

    The program includes invited talks, who are invited by the local CECR commities making oral submission by invite only. Only poster presentations are solicited from general participants through the online abstract submission system.

    Method of Submission

    All abstracts must be submitted only via the online form, which can be accessed after a submitter has created a new user account with an e-mail address and password.
    Authors will be notified about the receipt of their abstract by e-mail immediately. If you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours, please check your spam folder, and after this contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
    Authors will have access to their abstracts until the deadline, and will have the possibility to edit abstracts with draft status, or submit new ones.
    All correspondence concerning the abstract will be sent to the submitting author’s e-mail address.

    Submission Guidelines

    Authors are invited to submit abstracts on any of the given topics (most suitable category should be selected): 
    • Sjögren disease
    • Spondylarthritis
    • Pregnancy and reproductive health in inflammatory rheumatic diseases
    • Musculoskeletal manifestations of metabolic diseases
    • Rare and Orphan
    • Difficult to Treat
    • Future of Rheumatology
    • Pediatric Rheumatology
    • Advocacy
    Abstract language and format:

    • Abstracts must be written in clear English. Correct grammar use and spelling are author's responsibility. 
    • Title: Make the title of the abstract brief under 30 words and should be written in title case.
    • Body of the abstract should be structured into to sections: Background, Aim, Methods, Results, DiscussionsConclusions
    • The abstracts’ body may not exceed a maximum of 350 words.
    • Up to 3 references - maximum of 50 words.
    • Additionally one table or figure is accepted as part of the abstract and should be submitted as a jpeg file that should not exceeded 600 pixels width and 600 KB size.

    Other important considerations:

    • Research work or parts of research that have not yet been published or accepted for publication are eligible.
    • Each presenting author may submit up to 2 abstracts.
    • Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee or appointed reviewers.
    • The reviewers will only consider abstracts with at least one of its authors fully registered to attend the CECR 2024 by 1 October 2023.

    Poster Guidelines

    Instructions for poster preparation will be published after abstract submission closes.

    • Posters must be brought to the Conference by the presenting author and should not be mailed in advance.
    • You are responsible for setup and take-down of your posters before and after the session.
    • At the top of poster, please provide the title of the paper, names of the authors and their affiliations, all in bold lettering of about 2.5 to 3 cm size. Artwork and lettering should be large and clear enough so that the poster is readable from a distance of 1.5 m.
    • Be at your poster during the poster session.
    • The required dimensions are shown in the bellow guideline.
